Sophomore Design — Vehicle Impact Attenuation for First Responders
As a part of the mechanical engineering program at Purdue University, it is required to take a class in sophomore design, wherein which groups of students conceptualize, plan, design, prototype, and evaluate the financial and physical viability of a unique product.
For our project, my group decided to design a vehicle to be used by first responders in order to block crash sites from impact by vehicles of the roadway users.
